Teachers And Community Efforts to Motivate Students in Learning Reading Al-Qur'an Writings

Abstract

This study aims to obtain data about the efforts of teachers in guiding students to read and write the Koran in Riyadlus Sholihin PAUD, Community efforts in guiding students to read and write the Koran in early childhood education, student activities in learning to read and write the Qur'an. The method used is descriptive method. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires, interviews, observation and literature study. Sampling using census techniques. The population taken was PAUD students. The results of this study indicate that the efforts of teachers towards students in providing religious education in PAUD include; curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities with an average number of 30.13% (less); The efforts of the community in providing Islamic religious education to children in early childhood education have been made in the cooperation of community leaders, religious leaders and the child's parents. But the intensity of its implementation has only reached 29.92% (not optimal); Children's activities in absorbing efforts and guidance from parents, teachers and the community in Islamic religious education in PAUD reached 44.11%. Thus, efforts to develop children in the mastery of Islamic religious education still need to be improved. The final conclusion of this study shows that there needs to be guidance for PAUD students in learning to read and write the Koran from teachers and the community, especially their parents..
