AbstractThis article examines the views of Khalid bin Hamid al-Hazimi regarding the method of Islamic education in his work entitled Ushul al-Tarbiyyah al-Islamiyyah. The purpose of this study is to find a comprehensive picture of Khalid al-Hazimi's view of educational methods in Islam. This type of scientific research is library research and the method used in data analysis is content analysis with a descriptive approach. The data collection method used is the documentation method through the main source, namely the book Usul al-Tarbiyyah al-Islamiyyah by Khalid al-Hazimi. The complementary data used in the form of other books that are relevant to the title of this article. In the end, the author concludes that the method of Islamic education initiated by Khalid al-Hazimi is a development of the methods of previous Islamic education experts, namely methods based on the teachings of the Qur'an and the Prophet's Hadith. These methods include; exemplary method, story method, advice method, at-targhib wa at-tarhib method, and punishment method. Keywords : Islamic Education Method, Khalid al-HazimiAbstrakArtikel ini meneliti pandangan Khalid bin Hamid al-Hazimi terkait metode pendidikan Islam dalam karyanya berjudul Ushul al-Tarbiyyah al-Islamiyyah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan gambaran komprehensif pandangan Khalid al-Hazimi tentang metode pendidikan dalam Islam. Jenis penelitian ilmiah ini adalah kajian kepustakaan (library research) dan metode yang digunakan dalam analisis data adalah konten analisis dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode dokumentasi melalui sumber utama yaitu buku Ushul al-Tarbiyyah al-Islamiyyah karya Khalid al-Hazimi. Adapun data pelengkap yang digunakan berupa buku-buku lain yang relevan dengan judul artikel ini. Pada akhirnya, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa metode pendidikan Islam yang digagas oleh Khalid al-Hazimi merupakan pengembangan dari metode-metode para pakar pendidikan Islam sebelumnya, yaitu metode-metode yang berasaskan pada ajaran al-Qur’an dan Hadis Nabi. Metode-metode tersebut antara lain adalah; metode keteladanan, metode kisah, metode nasehat, metode at-targhib wa at-tarhib, dan metode hukuman. Kata Kunci : Metode Pendidikan Islam, Khalid al-Hazimi
