PERANAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI DAN MEDIA TIGA DIMENSI DALAM PENINGKATAN PRESTASI SISWA

Abstract

In this study, there are two focuses which become the main study of this research, namely first, to analyze and describe the implementation of inquiry learning strategies and three-dimensional media in improving student learning achievement. Second, to analyze and describe the results of implementing inquiry learning strategies and three-dimensional media in improving student learning achievement. The method in this research is qualitative research with the type of classroom action research (PTK). The subjects of this study were all grade VI students of SDNU Bangil. This classroom action research was conducted in 2 cycles. The data collection technique is carried out by researchers who act as teachers at the same time. The techniques used in the data collection procedure are interviews, tests, observation, and documentation. Researchers examined the application of inquiry strategies and the use of three-dimensional media in planetary learning in science subjects in Grade VI SDNU Bangil. Researchers act as implementers of action (teacher) and as observers, this class research is carried out by providing actions to obtain increased student learning achievement. The application of inquiry strategies and the use of three-dimensional media have been proven to be successful in improving the learning achievement of grade VI students at SDNU Bangil. This shows that there was an increase from 30% in the pre-cycle to 60% in the first cycle and increased again in the second cycle, reaching 80%. Therefore, the purpose of this study can be said to be successful because it has reached and even exceeded the research target of 70%, while the percentage obtained by students at the end of this study was 90%.
