Abstract

Abstrak BTQ subjects at high school and or equivalent educational institutions in Bangil city at first glance do not appear to be a problem. However, when observed carefully, this material as stipulated in the Pasuruan Regulation No. 6 of 2007 as a local content subject is a subject that is still lacking in terms of its development. This study aims to find the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities, and constraints for BTQ learning by following the rules of descriptive qualitative research. The basic data was obtained from filling out google forms by teachers and students of several high school and or equivalent educational institutions in the city of Bangil. Respondents received as many as 40 people 1 from the teacher, and 27 from the student. The results of this study indicate that BTQ subjects still require the development of various components, such as the development of goals that are more focused so that they can become the hallmark of the school, development of writing materials, development of teaching materials and resources in collaboration with non-formal educational institutions around the school, development of media. by utilizing the latest technology, and the evaluation model of learning is not just a fluency test and reading fluency of the Qur'an alone.
