MAKNA SABAR DALAM TAFSIR FI ZHILAL AL-QUR’AN

Abstract

Patience is mentioned in the qur’an repeatedly. This makes the importance of patience al- ways in oneself in living this life, both in comfortable and threatened conditions. In the interpretation of fi zhilal al-quran explained that ash-shabru is a common trait and must be possessed by a Muslim, where it is impossible for a Muslim to carry his faith, carry out his creed, and carry out all the burdens of his taklif but with that characteristic. Patience is a provision in the way of preaching Islam. Because the way of da'wah is long and heavy, full of obstacles and thorns, full of threats of blood and murder, disturbance and danger. So, it is not enough for a preacher to just jihad. However, you also have to be patient in carrying out these da'wah duties. Patience is also one of the characteristics of the Prophets. Allah prom- ises glorious and unlimited rewards for those who are patient. As for the meaning of patience in the interpretation of fi zhilal al-quran that the author found, including: patient in the sense of being steadfast, patient with the meaning of being determined, patient with the meaning of carrying out perfectly and realizing achievements and patient with the meaning of not arguing and rejecting qadha and qadar from Allah. Meanwhile, the relationship between pa- tience and aspects of life that the authors find is of five kinds, including: patient in carrying out orders and obedience to Allah, patience in accepting life's trials, patience in preaching, patience in facing wars and patience is the key to glory and the rewards are unlimited.
