THE ROLE OF COMMUNITY IN IMPROVING EDUCATION QUALITY

Abstract

The Role of the Community in Improving the Quality of Education is fundamental to the Decree of the Minister of National Education Number 044/U/2002 concerning School Committees and the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, explicitly affirming the authority of regions to manage the education sector. Simultaneously and immanently this momentum, the regions must empower themselves and adapt to the new paradigm of education management which emphasizes an active and open role in the community starting from planning, organizing, implementing and controlling the process and results of the quality of education. This paper aims to identify, describe and analyze the efforts made to improve the role of the community in improving the quality of schools; community involvement in preparing school work programs; The role of the community in improving the quality of schools; The role of the community in carrying out the evaluation of the work program.
