KOMUNIKASI INTRAPERSONAL MASYARAKAT PENYINTAS COVID-19; Studi Kasus di Kelurahan Padang Besi Kecamatan Lubuk Kilangan Kota Padang
Abstract
CoronaVirus Disease (Covid-19) is a global epidemic that is faced by all mankind. As a disease, it is not only kills millions of people but also creates serious social problems for survivors to deal with personally. This study focuses on looking at the interpersonal communication problems of Covid-19 survivors, in the Kelurahan Padang Besi, Kecamatan Lubuk Kilangan, Padang City through understanding the concepts of sensation, perception, memory, and thinking aspects proposed by Jalaluddin Rachmat (1995). This research is field research using a descriptive qualitative method. The source of data in this study is people who have been exposed to Covid-19 and have recovered, who are often called Covid-19 survivors. The sampling technique used is the purposive sampling technique, which is a technique for determining the research sample with certain considerations. Data collection techniques are observation and interviews. The results of the study prove that four aspects of interpersonal communication that have become an experience for COVID-19 survivors are excessive anxiety; paying attention to unimportant and running away from reality; hard accepting reality; and losing confidence. Over time, this becomes a problem for survivors who need time to organize communication in their lives.
