Da'wah is a religious phenomenon that is normative ideal as well as a rational, actual and empirical social and cultural phenomenon as sunnatullah. Therefore, da'wah is closely related to sociology and anthropology. This study leads to the renewal of behavior and moral improvement of the Modern and Marginal society of Padang City in general and specifically seeks to apply sharia which is sourced from the Qur'an and as-Sunnah, this is what makes sociology and anthropology inseparable from da'wah science. The study method is carried out through literature study, with Content Analysis technique. The results of this study identify that there are several phenomena of da'wah in the Modern and Marginal society of Padang City, including: (1) Da'wah related to the behavior of the people of Padang City, (2) The phenomenon of da'wah related to Da'i in Padang City, (3) The phenomenon of da'wah related to the interaction of modern and marginal communities in the city of Padang. The analysis of the da'wah phenomenon in a sociological perspective discusses the symbolic interaction between da'i and mad'u as social beings whose society is interconnected with each other. Furthermore, in the anthropological perspective of da'wah as a result of the interaction between da'i and mad'u, it will form a da'wah culture in the people of Padang City and the Marginal Communities of Padang City.
