Strategi Pembelajaran Anak Usia Dini Abad 21
Abstract
The selection of learning strategies is important when it is associated with the success of children's learning and in order to develop the potential of early childhood. This potential will develop well when appropriate learning strategies are given and according to the conditions or circumstances of early childhood entering the 21st century. The changing times affect many things, including the selection of learning strategies that support the demands of 21st century development, namely; problem solving, critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity skills (creativity and innovation skills). The achievement of these skills can be achieved by applying appropriate learning strategies, according to the mastery of the material and skills. This study used library research that analyzed learning strategies for early childhood in the 21st century based on literature, books, journals, and other supporting theories. The aim is to find out learning strategies that support the demands of the 21st century. Among these learning strategies are STEAM-based learning, Science Literacy-based, High Order Thinking Skill-based, and Blended Learning-based. The implementation of these learning strategies has begun to be applied at the level of early childhood education according to the stages of development and characteristics of children.
