PEMANFAATAN SUMBER BELAJAR BERBASIS POTENSI LINGKUNGAN DI KELOMPOK BERMAIN SEJAHTERA BANGSA PULAU BULUH KECAMATAN BULANG KOTA BATAM

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see the utilization of environmental potential-based learning resources, what forms of environmental potential are utilized by educational units and what are the obstacles faced by teachers in utilizing environmental potential-based learning resources in the Pulau Buluh Prosperity Play Group, Bulang District, Batam City. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews and direct observation with five informants consisting of one head of the Sejahtera Bangsa play grouop, two Sejahtera Bangsa playgroup teachers and two parents of Prosperous Bangsa play group students at school. Based on these interviews and observations, it was obtained some facts that learning resources based on environmental potential that are utilized by teachers are in the form of utilizing the surrounding environment such as fields, and mosques, utilizing living things such as goats and utilizing materials found in the surrounding environment such as dry leaves. From the results of observations and interviews as well as documentation, information and evidence is also obtained that the use of the environment as a learning resource has not been maximized due to the limited knowledge and creativity of teachers and the lack of support from parents.
