DESENTRALISASI PERAN PEREMPUAN DALAM TRADISI “PENGAGUNGAN” TERHADAP ROH LELUHUR: Sebuah Potret di Dusun Gampingan, Wonokerto, Malang
Abstract
There was a decentralization of the role of women in the “Glorification” tradition of ancestral spirits in Gampingan, Wonokerto, Malang. This tradition is commonly referred to as the Sandingan, a tradition that has strong roots and is carried out continuously every Friday Legi night, 1 Ramadan night, 1 Shawwal night, Kupatan feast night, and 10 Zulhijah night. Although women play an important role, in reality, their role is almost completely neglected. In fact, in this procession the role of women is even greater; the roles that men absolutely cannot do, starting from arranging chairs, making two types of apem, water mixed with flowers, two kinds of coffee, two kinds of tea, water, candles, matches, cigarettes, ginang to preparing flashlights.Keywords :Sandingan, Living Quran, Gender Equality, Feminisme, Patriarkhi.
