In an effort to mainstream religious moderation and prevent the understanding of intolerance and radicalism, IAIN Palangka Raya since 2012 has established Ma'had al-Jami'ah which must be followed by all new students. The purpose of the research is to describe the perception of mahasantri Ma'had al-Jami'ah IAIN Palangka Raya towards the understanding of religious moderation. This study is a descriptive qualitative study that explains the perception of mahasantri to religious moderation that is parsed using the parameters of religious moderation of the Ministry of Religion. The main data from this study is the results of research interviews to the class of 2020. This study concluded that the perception of mahasanti Ma'had al-Jami'ah IAIN Palangka Raya towards religious moderation is in accordance with the parameters formulated by the Ministry of Religion. However, there still needs to be intensive education for the mahasantri, in order for the equalization of perceptions of religious moderation by all students.Keywords :Religious Moderation, Students, Ma’had al-Jami'ah
