Abstract
Natural resources are gifts given by Allah SWT to mankind, namely the caliph fil ardh, but on the other hand it is humans who destroy nature itself. Sustainable development is a pattern of development that pays attention to the balance in nature. Islam gives freedom to take advantage of abundant natural resources, especially in Indonesia, but there are limitations and must also pay attention to the balance of nature so that natural resources will remain in continuity.
