Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik dengan Menerapkan Metode Problem Based Learning (PBL) melalui Media Gambar pada Pelajaran IPA Kelas V SDN 05 Ngembalrejo Bae Kudus

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method in class V SDN 05 Ngembalrejo Bae Kudus through media images in the subject of Science Theme 2 (KD. 3.2) "Clean Air for Health" with material subject "How the Body Manages Clean Air". The procedures applied in each cycle include the following stages: a). Planning, b). Implementation, c). Observation, d). Reflection. In this study there were 11 students who were divided into 4 groups. The research method used is a descriptive method in the form of direct observation research. Data collection techniques used are observations and documents with data collection tools, observation sheets and student test answers. The improvement starts with the pre-cycle with the classical approach by reaching a percentage of 55.3% then the first cycle to the second cycle with the results of the increase in students reaching a good category in the first cycle which is 75% and the second cycle of 86.5% which is a good category . Based on the results of the class actions that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method through image media in the Science subject Theme 2 (KD. 3.2) "Clean Air for Health" with the subject matter "Class V SDN 05 Ngembalrejo Bae Kudus can improve student learning outcomes.
