Pengaruh Media Gambar Berseri dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Karangan pada Siswa Kelas II di SDN Pasir Gadung II Kabupaten Tangerang
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of serial picture media on essay writing skills between students who use picture series learning aids and students who use conventional learning. This study used a quasi-experimental research method with the research design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population subjects in this study were all class II SDN Pasir Gadung II Tangerang Regency, totaling 60 students, using a sample of two classes, namely class II A, which consisted of 30 students as the control group and class II B, which consisted of 30 students as the experimental class. Data collection techniques used non-objective tests (descriptions). And the data analysis technique used t-test. The results showed that there were differences in essay writing skills between students that were taught using picture series media and those that did not use serial picture media. Similarly, the results of the t-test calculation or hypothesis testing carried out on the posttest value of the two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group with the results tcount = 3.037 > ttable = 2.002 with a significant level of 5% so that it can be concluded that the submission of H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Hence this can be interpreted that the use of serial image media is very influential on essay writing skills than those who do not use serial image media.
