Di era modern ini, prilaku amoral sudah tampak jelas terjadi di tengah-tengah kehidupan bermasyarakat. Sebagai unit terkecil masyarakat, keluarga diakui menjadi pondasi pertahanan pertama dan terakhir dalam sitem pembangunan bangsa. Maka urgensi peran wanita (baca:ibu) sebagai tiang negara adalah untuk menjaga suatu negara agar tetap dapat berdiri dengan kokoh. Dan Islam pun memandang di sinilah peran wanita sebagai tiang negara pun dimulai. Perannya di mulai dari rumah, tempat ia tinggal bersama orang-orang yang disayanginya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan wawasan tentang peran wanita dalam pendidikan keluarga menurut perspektif Islam serta mengetahui seberapa penting peran wanita dalam pendidikan keluarga menurut perspektif Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka, dengan teknik analisa data diskriptif induktif. Dari hasil pengamatan dan pengolahan data maka disimpulkan bahwa peran wanita dalam pendidikan keluarga menurut perspektif Islam adalah memberikan pendidikan yang terbaik kepada buah hati, menjaga mereka tetap dalam fitrahnya dengan menanamkan pondasi yang kuat (Aqidah, syari`ah dan Akhlaq), motivasi (lingkungan yang mendukung), dan inspirasi (teladan) sehingga tumbuh menjadi generasi islami yang cerdas, berkualitas, mampu menghadapi tantangan zaman serta menjadi kebanggaan agama, nusa dan bangsa. In this modern era, immoral behavior is already evident in the midst of community life. As the smallest unit of society, the family is recognized to be the first and final defense foundation in the nation's development system. So the urgency of the role of women (read: mother) as a pillar of the state is to protect a country so that it can stand firmly. And Islam also sees this where the role of women as a pillar of the state begins. His role starts at home, where he lives with the people he loves. The purpose of this study is to provide insight into the role of women in family education according to an Islamic perspective and to know how important the role of women in family education according to the Islamic perspective. The method used is literature study, with inductive descriptive data analysis techniques. From the results of observations and data processing, it can be concluded that the role of women in family education according to the Islamic perspective is to provide the best education to their children, keep them in their nature by instilling strong foundations (Aqeedah, syari'ah and akhlaq), motivation (environment support), and inspiration (exemplary) so that it grows into a generation of Muslims who are intelligent, qualified, able to face the challenges of the times and become the pride of religion, religion and nation.
