PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL SNOWBALL THROWING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ada tidaknya pengaruh penerapan model snowball throwing terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik materi wujud benda di kelas IV SD Negeri Koroncong tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah pre ekperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest dengan sampel 22 Peserta didik. Data hasil belajar IPA dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda. Nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 39,5 sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 79,86, yang kemudian dianalisis dengan uji hipotesis (uji t). Hasil perhitungan menunjukan thitung sebesar 26,20, ttabel sebesar 1,72 dengan df 21 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian, thitung ≥ ttabel yaitu 26,20 ≥ 1,72, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian menyimpulkan adanya pengaruh penerapan model snowball throwing terhadap hasil belajar IPA materi wujud benda di kelas IV SDN Koroncong.Kata Kunci: Model Snowball Throwing, Hasil Belajar IPA, Wujud BendaAbstract: This study aims to analyze whether or not there is an effect of the application of the snowball throwing model toward the learning outcomes of science students in material forms in class IV Koroncong State Elementary School 2018/2019. The method used was a pre-experimental design of the One Group Pretest-Posttest with a sample of 22 students. Science learning outcomes data were collected using multiple-choice tests. The average pretest score was 39.5 while the post-test mean score was 79.86, which was then analyzed by hypothesis testing (t-test). Calculation results show that t count is 26.20, the t table is 1.72 with df 21 at a significance level of 0.05. Based on the test criteria, t count ≥ t table is 26.20 ≥ 1.72, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, the results of the study concluded that there was an influence of the application of the snowball throwing model to the learning outcomes of natural matter material in class IV SDN Koroncong.Keywords: Snowball Throwing Model, Science Learning Outcomes, Objects
