Abstract
In financial theory, waqf is one of the Islamic economic institutions that plays an important role in the economic empowerment of the people. Waqf plays a role in empowering not only in the economic field, but also in the social, educational and health fields. So that the role of waqf for the economy is very important and with professional waqf management, it will certainly make waqf more productive. This waqf empowerment has been implemented by Islamic financial institutions with the aim of helping the community in managing it.
