KARAKTER INTRINSIK MUSHAF KUNO:
Abstract
This paper examines the development of handwritten Qur'anic manuscripts in Sapit Village, Suela District, East Lombok. To get data about the focus of the research, the author uses a field research model by using interviews and documentation as primary data collection methods and several scientific papers as secondary data. All data obtained, analyzed using paratext theory to get more focused results. After collecting and analyzing data, the authors found that the arrival of Sunan Prapen on the orders of Sunan Giri in the 16th century also gave a new color to the development of the writing tradition of the Sasak people. He and his courtiers came with religious books, including the manuscripts of the Qur'an. This manuscript is then copied by those who will get the title of religious leaders. It is not surprising that the intrinsic aspects of the Pusaka Mushaf have similarities with the characteristics of ancient manuscripts on the island of Java, ranging from the paper used to the harakat, tajwid signs and waqf signs.
