ARGUMENTASI IMAM SYAFI’I TERHADAP HADIS-HADIS MUKHTALIF
Abstract
The Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW is a truth that cannot be contradicted. Therefore, al-Imam as-Shafi'i made methods in completing the authentic hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW which according to the disbelievers is a contradiction and cannot be accepted as a truth. The methods offered by al-Imam as-Syafi'i in resolving the conflicting authentic hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW is by the first method, namely al-jamu wa at-aufiq (compromising) that is by compromising two authentic hadiths that seem contradictory so that the two traditions can be used equally. without leaving any hadith.
