PENGEMBANGAN INSTRUMEN TES HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILL (HOTS) MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING

Abstract

Penelitian ini betujuan untuk menghasilkan instrument HOTS pada materi persamaan kuadrat yang berkualitas di SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Utara. Metode yang yang digunakan adalah pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan tipe formatife evaluation Tessmer. Untuk menghasilkan instrument tes HOTS yang berkualitas pada matei persamaan kuadrat, salah satunya menggunakan model pengembangan tipe formatif evaluation Tessmer. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 tahap preliminary, tahap self evaluation dan tahap formative evaluation (Prototyping) yang meliputiexpert reviews dan one to one (low resistance to revision) dan small group seta tahap field test (high resistance in revision). Tingkat kesulitan instrumen rata- rata 0,51 termasuk dalam kategori sedang, dan rata-rata daya pembeda 0,3 termasuk dalam kategori cukup. Dalam proses pembelajaran Problem Based Learning, instrumen tes juga memenuhi standar reliabilitas yaitu 0,83 yang memiliki reliabilitas interpretasi sangat tinggi. Dapat juga dikatakan bahwa tes ini bersifat praktis. Berdasarkan analisis angket yang dijawab oleh small group 82,59% diantaranya mendapat jawaban positif.  Kata Kunci: Instrumen Tes, Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi, Kualitas   ABSTRACT      This study aims to produce a HOTS instrument on quality quadratic equation material at SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Utara. The method used is the development using the Tessmer formative evaluation type development model. To produce a quality HOTS test instrument on quadratic equations, one of them uses the Tessmer evaluation formative type development model. This research consists of 4 preliminary stages, a self-evaluation stage and a formative evaluation (Prototyping) stage which includes expert reviews and one to one (low resistance to revision) and a small group and a field test stage (high resistance in revision). The average instrument difficulty level of 0.51 is included in the medium category, and the average discriminatory power of 0.3 is included in the sufficient category. In the learning process of Problem Based Learning, the test instrument also meets the reliability standard of 0.83, which has a very high interpretation reliability. It can also be said that this test is practical. Based on the analysis of the questionnaire answered by the small group, 82.59% of them got a positive answer.  Keywords: Test Instruments, Higher Order Thinking, Quality
