Hubungan antara Kebiasaan Membaca dengan Kemampuan Menulis Siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri Kunciran 06 Kota Tangerang

Abstract

This study aims to find out the empirical data on the relationship between reading habits and writing skills of fourth grade students at SD Negeri Kunciran 06 Tangerang City. The method used in this study is a quantitative method of correlation. This method is used to prove whether or not there is a relationship between the problems studied in the fourth grade students of SD Negeri Kunciran 06 Tangerang City. In collecting data, the researcher collected data from two sources, namely the reading habit questionnaire data from the results of filling out the questionnaire, and the writing ability scores from the writing ability test results. The instrument used to obtain the data in this study was a test, and a non-test. The test is carried out by giving 10 questions to fill in, while for the non-test instrument by giving a questionnaire/questionnaire about reading habits.   Based on the results of research obtained by researchers at SD Negeri Kunciran 06, Tangerang City. The results of data analysis using the Product Moment formula and SPSS 26 assistance based on research on reading habits have a positive and significant relationship to writing ability. 0.05) it can be concluded that H₀ is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that this study has succeeded in testing the truth of the hypothesis, namely that reading habits have a significant relationship with writing ability at SD Negeri Kunciran 06 Tangerang City. Because the correlation coefficient is positive, the higher the reading habit, the higher the writing ability.
