Analisis Budaya Literasi terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Kelas III Sekolah Dasar Jaya Plus Montessori Tangerang Selatan
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the culture of literacy on learning achievement. This type of research is qualitative research. Through the use of data collection techniques of observation, interviews and document studies. The research sample was 3rd grade teachers and the principal of SD Jaya Plus Montessori. The results of the research conducted by the author at SD Jaya Plus Montessori revealed that the implementation of the literacy culture of SD Jaya Plus Montessori schools was carried out 15 minutes before teaching and learning activities. Teachers have an important role in the implementation of literacy culture in every activity. Based on the results of this study, (1) educators are expected to be more active in implementing a literacy culture for students in various aspects of learning activities because they can support student achievement in grade 3; and (2) schools are expected to provide adequate facilities in the implementation of student literacy cultural activities in schools so that students can get used to literacy in the school environment not only in learning.
