Upaya Peningkatan Kualitas Produksi Melalui Media Tanam (Baglog) Pada Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) Jamur Tiram di Desa Bareng Babadan Ponorogo
Abstract
Bareng village, Babadan sub-district, Ponorogo district, grows oyster mushroom which are managed by individuals. These cultivation activities only produce fresh white oyster mushrooms. The growing media used comes from the production of other people who just need to be cared for to produce fresh white oyster mushrooms. On the other hand, the condition of a lot of waste can also cause pollution to the surrounding environment it cause the lack of knowledge about the treatment of the mushroom growing media waste (baglog). Mushroom growing media or commonly called baglog is a mushroom growing medium made from a mixture of sawdust, bran, and various other nutrients that can help mushroom growth. In this study, the author uses the ABCD research method, where the researcher explains how to improve the quality of oyster mushroom production through planting media (baglog) in the village of Bareng. From this research it can be concluded that improving a quality of oyster mushroom cultivation production is very necessary to developing a business of oyster mushroom farmers in the village of Bareng. Abstrak Desa Bareng kecamatan Babadan kabupaten Ponorogo tumbuh jamur tiram yang dikelola oleh perorangan. Kegiatan budidaya tersebut hanya memproduksi jamur tiram putih segar saja. Media tanam yang digunakan berasal dari produksi milik orang lain yang tinggal dirawat hingga menghasilkan jamur putih tiram yang segar. Disisi lain, kondisi limbah yang banyak juga dapat mengakibatkan perncemaran lingkungan sekitar karena kurangnya pengetahuan akan pengolahan limbah media tanam jamur (baglog) tersebut. Media tanam jamur atau biasa disebut baglog yang merupakan media untuk tumbuhnya jamur yang terbuat dari berbagao campuran seperti, bekas gergaji kayu, bekatul, kemudian nutrisi yang dapat membantu pertumbuhan jamur. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode penelitian ABCD, dimana peneliti menjelaskan bagaimana upaya peningkatan kualitas produksi jamur tiram melalui media tanam (baglog) di desa Bareng. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kualitas produksi budidaya jamur tiram sangat diperlukan guna mengembangkan bisnis petani jamur tiram di desa Bareng.
