Implementasi Metode Bercerita Berbasis Qur’ani Dalam Menumbuhkembangkan Kecerdasan Emosional Anak Usia Dini
Abstract
Children's emotional intelligence is very important to be developed in students from an early age, because emotional intelligence greatly affects the success of children's lives later on. Qur'an-based storytelling is the delivery of stories that originate from the Koran. This method can develop moral and religious values, and social and emotional values of children. The purpose of this study: 1) Knowing the objective conditions of Kindergarten At-Taqwa, 2) the application of the qur'ani-based storytelling method at At-Taqwa Kindergarten, 3) the results achieved by applying the qur'ani-based storytelling method to the development of emotional intelligence of group students A TK At-Taqwa, 4) factors driving and inhibiting the use of quran-based story telling. This study used a qualitative method with eleven informants as research subjects, namely; one At-Taqwa Kindergarten teacher, five At-Taqwa Kindergarten students and five Attaqwa Kindergarten students parents. Based on data processing and discussion, the results of the study are as follows: 1) At-Taqwa Kindergarten has implemented quran based storytelling activities as a local curriculum on each theme of at least one story. 2) This activity is carried out by planning and then carrying out various activities to stimulate children's emotional intelligence. 3) The results achieved are able to foster emotional intelligence of children 4) The driving factor is the competence and exemplary educators. The inhibiting factors are the limitations of the books of the qurani stories as well as the limitations in visualizing stories to children and parenting parents and the rapid flow of information and globalization. Abstrak Kecerdasan emosional anak penting sekali dikembangkan pada anak didik sejak usia dini, karena kecerdasan emosional sangat mempengaruhi kesuksesan hidup anak di kemudian hari. Bercerita berbasis qurani adalah penyampaian kisah yang bersumber dari Al-Quran. Metode ini dapat mengembangkan nilai moral dan agama, serta nilai sosial dan emosional anak. Tujuan penelitian ini: 1) Mengetahui kondisi objektif TK At-Taqwa, 2) penerapan metode bercerita berbasis qur’ani di TK At-Taqwa, 3) hasil yang dicapai penerapan metode bercerita berbasis qur’ani terhadap perkembangan kecerdasan emosional anak-anak didik kelompok A TK At-Taqwa, 4) faktor-faktor pendorong dan penghambat dalam penggunaan bercerita berbasis qurani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah sebelas informan, yaitu ; satu orang guru TK At-Taqwa, lima siswa TK At-Taqwa dan lima orang tua siswa TK Attaqwa. Berdasarkan pengolahan data dan pembahasan diperoleh hasil penelitian yaitu: 1) TK At-Taqwa telah menerapkan kegiatan bercerita berbasis qur’ani sebagai kurikulum lokal pada setiap tema minimal satu cerita. 2) Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan perencanaan kemudian dilaksanakan berbagai kegiatan untuk menstimulasi kecerdasan emosional anak. 3) Hasil yang dicapai yaitu dapat menumbuhkembangkan kecerdasan emosional anak 4) Faktor pendorong adalah kompetensi dan keteladanan pendidik. Faktor penghambat adalah terbatasnya buku-buku cerita qurani serta keterbatasan dalam memvisualisasikan cerita kepada anak serta pola asuh orangtua dan cepatnya arus informasi dan globalisasi.
