Efektifitas Kegiatan Bernyanyi dalam Memotivasi Kemampuan Membaca Anak Kelompok B1 Di RA Uswatun Hasanah Desa Sumber Kidul Kecamatan Babakan Kabupaten Cirebon
Abstract
This study aims to determine the Effectiveness of Singing Activities in Motivating the Reading Ability of Children of Group B1 RA Uswatun Hasanah, Sumber Kidul Village, Babakan District, Cirebon Regency. This research is motivated by low reading ability. This research aims to prove that singing activities are effective in motivating reading skills. This research is a quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental study, using quantitative data analysis. The research subjects were 15 respondents. The design of this study was conducted before the experiment (pre-test) and after the experiment (post-test). The results of the research on the reading ability of Kidul's children before the effectiveness of singing activities obtained an average data of 1.26. After singing activities, children's reading ability has increased by 1.42. The difference in the ability to read before and after singing activities from the results of the t test obtained results of tcount (29.00)> (2.14) ttable, with a significance level of 5% so that Ho was rejected. It can be concluded that the level of effectiveness of singing activities in motivating reading skills is very significant. This research is expected to be an information and input material for teaching and learning activities at the PAUD level, especially in RA Uswatun Hasanah, Sumber Kidul Village to stimulate aspects of child development, especially in reading skills. Keywords: singing activities; reading skill; early childhood Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas Efektivitas Kegiatan Bernyanyi dalam Memotivasi Kemampuan Membaca Anak Kelompok B1 RA Uswatun Hasanah Desa Sumber Kidul Kecamatan Babakan Kabupaten Cirebon. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya kemampuan membaca. Penelitian ini bertuiuan untuk membuktikan bahwa kegiatan bernyanyi efektif dalam memotivasi kemampuan membaca. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment atau eksperimen semu, dengan menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif. Subyek penelitiannya adalah 15 responden. Desain penelitian ini dilakukan yaitu sebelum eksperimen (pre-test) dan sesudah eksperimen (post-test). Hasil penelitian kemampuan membaca anak Kidul sebelum melakukan efektivitas kegiatan bernyanyi diperoleh data rata-rata 1,26. Setelah dilakukan kegiatan bernyanyi, kemampuan membaca anak mengalami kenaikan sebesar 1,42. Perbedaan kemampuan membaca sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan bernyanyi dari hasil uji t diperoleh hasil thitung(29,00) > (2,14) ttabel, dengan taraf signifikansi 5% sehingga Ho ditolak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat efektivitas kegiatan bernyanyi dalam memotivasi kemampuan membaca sangat signifikan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan informasi dan masukan bagi kegiatan belajar mengajar ditingkat PAUD khususnya di RA Uswatun Hasanah Desa Sumber Kidul untuk menstimulasi aspek perkembangan anak terutama dalam kemampuan membaca.
