Tangential method for creating and finding limits of functions
Abstract
In the math program at high school, finding the limits of functions is a difficult problem but rather common and is often seen in high school as well as university exams. There are many different methods to solve such problems. One of them is the tangential method which is effective and often used in many cases. In this paper, we give some ways to create new problems about limits of functions by using the tangent equations and give a few comments to help students with finding solutions. We also give some examples for practice. Based on the comments, students understand the nature of some problems of find limits of functions more easily by using tangential methods.
