State management on food safety in Da Nang city: View from propaganda
Abstract
In recent years, especially since the Food Safety Management Board of Da Nang City was established, the state management on food safety in Da Nang city has had many positive changes: the number of cases and the number of food poisoning people has decreased, food safety management agencies are gathered in one place, which is very convenient for the management and administration. However, the low awareness of a number of traders, consumers in ensuring food safety makes the risk of unsafe food still exist. The article discusses the successes and shortcomings of information, education and communication, dissemination of legal policies on food safety (hereinafter referred to as propaganda),and proposes some measures to improve the propaganda in the next time.
