Current status of underground water in the boundary area between Vo Nguyen Giap and Ho Nghinh streets, Son Tra district, Danang city

Abstract

This paper presents the results of the research on the status of groundwater pollution in the boundary area between Ho Nghinh and Vo Nguyen Giap streets, Son Tra district, Danang city via electrical graphics 2-3-Dimensional method. Approximately 308 data points were collected on 04 measurement lines (each line 22m long) in the east-west in the study area. After handling the confounding factors, the data was formatted and processed by specialized software with 3 loops on finite difference algorithm and the least squares method. The analysis results show that groundwater distributed near the ground at a depth of about 4m in the survey area shows signs of heavy metal pollution (Pb, Hg, Fe) and electrolytes (KCl, NaCl) in domestic wastewater. This shows that at the survey area at the depth of about 4m in groundwater, there is accumulation and displacement of pollutants.
