Researching on “zombie leaner” syndrome of students of faculty of international studies, University of Foreign Language studies - the University of Danang
Abstract
Recently, the term \"zombie\" (or living corpse) has been used more and more often with different variations for different purposes and meanings in many fields of life. One of those variations is the term \"zombie learner\" referring to a syndrome that is currently popular among students. This article first presents and describes the status, expressions of \"zombie learner\" syndrome among students of the Faculty of International Studies, University of Foreign Studies, The University of Danang (FIS, UFLS-UD), then analyzes the causes and finally proposes appropriate solutions to this syndrome, thereby indirectly raising the self-awareness and consiousness about learning issues of students of the FIS, UFLS-UD.
