Cooperation in the field of culture between Vietnam and Soviet Union (1954 – 1975)
Abstract
The Soviet Union was one of the first countries in the world to recognize and establish diplomatic relations with Vietnam (1950), laying the foundations for strong friendship and long-term cooperation between Vietnam and the Soviet Union. and Vietnam - Russia today. This good relationship is manifested vividly and effectively in many areas of social life, in which cooperation in the cultural field is a direction of cooperation with many characteristics, but also a field of research with lots of gaps. Therefore, this article will focus on clarifying the legal basis, achievements and limitations in the cultural cooperation between Vietnam and the Soviet Union in the field of culture, thereby confirming the great contributions of the Union. The Soviet Union contributed to building an advanced and integrated culture of Vietnam in the years 1954 - 1975.
