Building the formation and development of skills self-service for children with intellectual disability
Abstract
One of the biggest challenges facing children with intellectual disabilities is self-service. In fact, there are many children with intellectual disabilities who are old enough but they cannot eat, drink or wash by themselves;everything depends on their caretakers. In order to help children with intellectual disabilities to lead a more independent life in the future, and to make it easier for families and teachers to take care of their children\'s education-training process, we have conducted research on development. process of forming and developing self-service skills for children with intellectual disabilities. We have conducted experiments for groups of 12 children with intellectual disabilities between the ages of 6 and 11 years old at Uoc Mo Xanh Inclusive Education, Da Nang city. The results of the study are important scientific evidence in trainiing teachers and parents of children with intellectual disabilities in how to equip self-service skills for such children.
