Developing the T-PHI conformal formulation for magnetodynamic problems by a numerical technique

Abstract

Magnetodynamic problems is one of the important problems in the fields of general electrical systems and private equipment. Therefore, the study, computation and simulation of electromagnetic processes in the magnetodynamic problems become very important and topical for researchers and designers both in Viet Nam and in the world.In this paper, the author has applied the finite element technique (one of the strongest and the most popular methods) to calculate fringing and leakage fluxes, and eddy currents with different variations of the air gap of electromagnetic devices. The method is developed with T-Phi conformal formulation with a 3-D model.
