Analysing data and building a chart to warn road traffic accident on the area of Da Nang city
Abstract
Based on the data related to road traffic accidents collected from 2015 to 2018 by the traffic safety department – Da Nang police, the paper has analyzed the data to clarify specific statistical indicators of traffic accidents: time period, areas, gender, age, means of transport and causes. In addition, the author focuses on classifying the danger levels of traffic accidents based on previous circulars and studies. Then, the results of the analysis are used to establish a spatial distribution of thirteen black routes and ten black spots where accidents have occurred frequently. The results of this research can be used to alert the road users in the city and can be a fundamental for the authorities in terms of proposing appropriate measures arming to reduce the number of traffic accidents in the future.
