Digital transformation and its impacts on entrepreneurial intention

Abstract

- The complicated Covid-19 epidemic has predicted upcoming difficulties not only for Vietnam\'s economy but also for the global economy. In this context, entrepreneurship is expected as a solution that can help economies in crisis recover quickly. Based on research by Liñán and Chen (2009), taking into account the aspect of digital transformation, this study proposes a model that links students\' entrepreneurial intention to the digital transformation process - the process comes with opportunities for creating new business models [1]. The results show that Personal Attitude (PA) and Perception of Behavioral Control (PBC) are the main determinants of entrepreneurial intention. In addition, the SEM model also shows that Education Support, Relationship Support and the emerging factor in research - Information and Communication Technology (ICT) influence the intention to start a business through PA and PBC.
