The relationship between school bullying with psychological stress level of secondary students in Da Nang city

Abstract

School bullying is a problem in the world and in Vietnam, leaving serious physical and mental consequences for students. The important task of researchers is to assess the true situation and the relationship between bullying and psychological stress, thereby proposing effective measures to help children respond positively when being bullied. This study uses school bullying and psychological stress scales, surveying over 420 secondary students in Da Nang to assess the situation and the relationship between school bullying and the extent of psychological stress. The results that students are bullied in 5 different forms: directly verbal bullying, relationship bullying, physical bullying, online bullying and property infringement. The study shows the negative relationship between forms of bullying and the level of psychological stress among secondary students, Da Nang City.
