Application of Kalman filter for signal processing of dynamic weighing systems
Abstract
Weight determination scales are a common need in all areas of human daily life nowadays. The weighing scale on a continuous conveyor will help the production process be continuous and uninterrupted. Processing the weighing signal under a continuous conveyor belt is a challenging and difficult task. In this paper, we will study the application of Kalman algorithm to process electronic Dynamic Scale signals operating under continuous operating conveyors. Dynamic Scale signal will be read from LoadCell sensor to Matlab software. Kalman algorithm will be built on Matlab software to process this signal. The study results will be compared with those by the average Fir filter. Then Kalman algorithm will be written and applied to the microprocessor Kit to make electronic Dynamic Scales for fruit weighing.
