Since personal and small library is very important to lecturers and students as said by many experts in the world, the teacher-researcher investigates it by describing why the students and the lecturers do not have any interest in reading and how important of a personal and small library exactly. In reality in some information obtained by the teacherresearcher from written news and factual information expressed by the writers (library research), illogical thinkings of much fund are needed to build it appears as some other people say like no building, no bookselves, no books, and even no readers. As the readers, the lecturers and the students do not realize that is very cheap to build it since they can utilize their room at home effectively and efficiently without spending much fund. Books, newspaper, manuscripts, films, maps, prints, documents, CDs,cassettes, videotapes, DVDs, Blu-ray Discs, e-books, audiobooks, databases, and other formats et cetera are kept there safely. Therefore the lecturers and the students can share updated information/news to open global windows and to meet better attainments. For all Indonesian students, they are recommended to habitualize themselves to be interested in readings, increasing it through reading activities in the personal and small library and as can as possible reducing the negative factors in their readings but developing the positive factors . Finally for the lecturers, they are suggested to have personal and small library at home without selling books to the students.
