KETERSEDIAAN FASILITAS DAN PELAKSANAAN LAYANAN BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING

Abstract

Guidance and counseling activities have great influence on the student’s motivation and quality of learning. In its implementation, guidance and counseling are also strongly influenced by facilities. The facilities are supporting tools to reveal problems and constraints faced by students. The objectives of this study are (1) To reveal the existence of counseling and guidance service facilities in SMP negeri 5 Botomuzoi. (2) Revealing the implementation of guidance and counseling services by the Principal with existing facilities. This research was conducted at SMP negeri 5 Botomuzoi in 2017/2018 with 27 subjects. The method used was quantitative descriptive. The research instruments were observations, closed questionnaires and documentation. Based on the results of observation and questionnaire processing, it was found that: (1) guidance and counseling service facilities in SMP negeri 5 Botomuzoi are inadequate, and there was not a single specified teacher for guidance and counceling.(2) The implementation of guidance and counseling at SMP negeri 5 Botomuzoi has not been carried out maximally due to inadequate facilities and guidance and counseling services.
