PENGARUH PENDEKATAN INTERAKTIF TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA PADA SISWA SMP SWASTA PEMBDA 2 GUNUNGSITOLI
Abstract
The study was aimed at (1) calculating the average of students’ learning outcomes using Interactive Approach of IPA Terpadu at SMP Swasta Pembda 2 Gunungsitoli; (2) Calculating the average of students’ learning outcomes by using Conventional Teaching of IPA Terpadu of SMP Swasta Pembda 2 Gunungsitoli; and (3) Determining whether there is or no an effect of Interactive Approach to the learning outcomes of IPA Terpadu of SMP Swasta Pembda 2 Gunungsitoli. The research was carried out in SMP Swasta Pembda 2 Gunungsitoli with the study population is seventh grade (semester 2). The sample was class VII-1 (32 persons) as an experimental class and class VII-2 (31 persons) as a control class. The research method used was quasi-experimental research method (quasi-design experiment) with a randomized pre test - post test experiment- control group design. The results of the study were (1) The average ofstudents’ learning outcomes of IPA Terpadu by using Interactive Approach at SMP Swasta Pembda 2 Gunungsitoli was 80.19 that was quite good; (2) Average of students’ learning outcomes using Conventional Teachingat SMP Swasta Pembda 2 Gunungsitoli was 68.48 that was quite; (3) Based on statistical hypothesis testing, it turns out that t count = 5.343 and t table = 1.9997. Because t count = 5.343 does not lie in the interval -1.9997 ? t ? 1.9997, then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Thus, it was concluded: "There is an effect of Interactive Approach on the students’ learning outcomes of SMP Swasta Pembda 2 Gunungsitoli.
