MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR BAHASA INDONESIA MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TWO STAYTWO STRAY

Abstract

Cooperative learning model with type “Two Stay Two Stray” is a learning model which gives an opportunity to a group to share their work result and information to other groups. A characteristic of Two Stay Two Stray is two persons from each group come to other groups as guest and two other persons act as reception. Purpose of the research was (1) to describe Indonesian teaching-learning processby applying Cooperative Learning Modelwith Two Stay Two StrayType, (2) to describestudents’ ability averageby applying Cooperative Learning Modelwith Two Stay Two StrayType, (3) to provesignificantly teaching-learning process qualityby applying Cooperative Learning Modelwith Two Stay Two StrayType, and (4) to prove significantly students’ learning outcomes averageby applying Cooperative Learning Modelwith Two Stay Two StrayType. The research was conducted to the ninth grade students, class A at SMP Negeri 2 Sogae’adu in even semester in 2017/2018 which the total students was 25 persons which consisted of 10 male students and 15 female students. The research design used was Classroom Action Research which consisted of two cycles.
