PENGARUH PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI KELAS VIII DI SMP NEGERI 1 MORO’O

Abstract

This study aims: (1) To find out the average student learning outcomes using a contextual approach (2) To determine whether there is a significant influence on contextual approaches to student learning outcomes in economic subjects in class VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Moro'o in 2018/2019. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Moro’o. The population is all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Moro’o and the research sample consists of two classes, class VIII-A as an experimental class with 32 people and class X-B as a control class of 30 people. The results of the study: (1) The average value of the initial test in the experimental class of 43.55 is classified as less and the average value of the final test in the experimental class of 88.07 is classified as good; the average value of the initial test in the control class was 36.17 and it was classified as less and the average value of the final test in the control class was 45.49, which was classified as poor. (2) in hypothesis testing obtained tcount = 23.78 with dk = 81 so that obtained ttable = 1.993 at a significant level of 5% so that it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that there is the effect of a contextual approach to student learning outcomes in Integrated Social Studies subjects class VIII at Moro'o Public Middle School 1 in 2018/2019.
