PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PKn
Abstract
The low score of students in Civics subjects is caused by the teacher's lack of ability to select and apply various learning models. The solution given by the researcher to overcome this problem is to take action on the learning process in the form of classroom action research on Civics subject through the application of the Contextual Teaching Learning model in the learning process. Contextual Teaching Learning model is a learning model that can provide opportunities for students to come up with their own ideas and real. This study consisted of two cycles where for each cycle started from planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in Civics subject through the application of the Contextual Teaching Learning model and to describe the implementation of the learning process in Civics subject through the application of the Contextual Teaching Learning model. This research was conducted from March to April 2018 in class V SDN 078436 Duria with 15 students, 9 male students and 6 female students. The results of the study were the students’ learning outcomes in Civics lessons through the application of the Contextual Teaching Learning model was increased, where at the end of the cycle the average students’ learning outcomes were 80 with 82% completeness percentage and the average result of reflection at the end of the cycle reached 82% which was classified as good , so that the learning process in Civics subject is improved through the application of the Contextual Teaching Learning model. Thus it can be concluded that student learning outcomes in Civic lessons was improved through the application of the Contextual Teaching Learning model and the learning process in Civics subject is improved through the application of the Contextual Teaching Learning model.
