OPTIMALISASI PENGELOLAAN WAKAF UANG DI LEMBAGA WAKAF ESQ TERHADAP PEMBERDAYAAN EKONOMI UMAT
Abstract
Management of money waqf in Indonesia has considerable potential. However, in reality the management of waqf money cannot yet be said to be optimal due to problems such as, the lack of professional Nadzir, the management of traditional waqf, and the lack of public understanding of money waqf because the community only understands waqf in mushola, madrasa, and tombs. So that the need for money waqf management strategies from several experts in the fields of academia, regulation, and practitioners in order to create optimal money waqf management. This study aims to find out the inhibiting factors in the management of waqf money in the ESQ Waqf Institution, solutions in overcoming the problems of money waqf management that have not been optimal, and the author wants to know the strategy of money waqf management for the economic empowerment of the people in the ESQ Waqf Institution. This research was conducted in one research place, namely the ESQ Waqf Institute. By conducting research through indpth interviews and questionnaires to five respondents who understand about the management of waqf money from one field of academics, two fields of regulation, and two fields of practitioners. This study uses the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method with calculations using the "Super Decision" software. The results of this study indicate that the problems that arise in the management of waqf money in the ESQ waqf institution consist of 3 musty namely, nadzir aspects, regulators, and endowments. The overall breakdown of problem clusters results in priority order: 1) aspects of nadzir problems (ie lack of professional nadzir), 2) aspects of wakif problems (ie lack of wakif trust or donors for money waqf), and 3) aspects of regulator problems (ie regulations that are not appropriate with the times). The priority solutions to these problems are found in the wakif cluster (ie increasing literacy and inclusion of waqf money to the public), and priority strategy is the main priority of introducing ESQ waqf programs to ESQ training alumni.
