Abstrac: This article aims to look at the relationship between religion and government system. Seeing from the eyes of Islam, some experts argue that religion and the state into a unity that cannot be separated from each other. Although they are fundamentally different, they are related and need each other, and that is true in an Islamic state. As in the time of the prophet Muhammad, Caliph Rashidin, Islamic Dynasties, Islamic sultanates such as Turkey Usmani, Samudera Pasai and Banten, until now. one of the countries that still use Islam as the legal basis of the country is Saudi Arabia. Melihat dari kacamata Islam, beberapa pakar berpendapat bahwasanya agama dan negara menjadi satu kesatuan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan satu sama lain. Walaupun pada dasarnya berbeda, tetapi saling berkaitan dan membutuhkan satu sama lain, dan itu benar terjadi dalam negara berbasiskan Islam. Seperti halnya pada masa nabi Muhammad, Khalifah Rasyidin, Dinasti-Dinasti Islam, Kesultanan Islam seperti Turki Ustmani, Samudera Pasai dan Banten, sampai pada sekarang ini. salah satu negara yang masih menggunakan Islam sebagai dasar hukum negaranya ialah Arab Saudi.
