The Covid-19 Pandemic period has occurred since the end of 2019 until now. Covid-19 itself has crippled all aspects of human life, both in terms of social, economic and even the world of education has been affected, thus making the transition of all activities from normal to new normal. Distance learning is a solution to overcome so that the implementation of teaching and learning activities continues during a pandemic and efforts to prevent the virus from spreading widely. Even ready or not ready to continue this distance learning activity and for some educators this is a new thing and not used to it. There are many factors that make it difficult for each educator, namely the limited ability of educators or teachers in the world of information and communication technology, facilities and infrastructure owned by teachers and students as well as environmental conditions that are less supportive even today educators are forced to use electronic devices to support Online education or commonly called virtual learning, this research is intended to analyze the types of learning media to improve student learning outcomes. The research methodology used in this data collection is the method of interview, observation, and literature study. While the research methodology uses qualitative methods. The results of this study are the considerations and stages in choosing the type of learning media and the ineffectiveness of distance learning using online learning media because there are still constraints, both from data connections and lack of adaptation to changes in teaching and learning activities during this pandemic.
