Abstract
On the study of hadith, the problems of sanad and matan are two important elements that determine the existence and quality of a hadith as a source of authority for the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. The two elements are so important in meaning, and are closely related to each other, so that the emptiness of one of them will affect and even damage the existence and quality of a hadith. In terms of quality, according to Ibn Soleh, the saheh hadith is a hadith which is inherently continuous, narrated by people who are fair, memorize, the hadiths are not broken and contain no defects Takhrij Hadith is the tracing of a statement in the name of the Prophet's hadith. to the reference to the book collection of the Prophet's hadiths to find out the validity of these hadiths
