Peningkatan Kemampuan Menulis Teks Berita melalui Teknik Rangsang Gambar Siswa Kelas VIII.A SMP Negeri 19 Mataram

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in the results of the ability to write news texts and increase the learning outcomes of class VIII A students of SMPN 19 Mataram in the odd semester of the 2018/2019 academic year through learning using image stimulation techniques. This study was designed using Classroom Action Research. The subjects in this study were 30 students of class VIII A SMP Negeri 19 Mataram, while the research procedure went through stages, namely planning, implementing action, observing, and reflecting. The results showed that the ability of students to write news texts and Indonesian language learning outcomes Class VIII A students of SMP Negeri 19 Mataram Odd semester of the 2018/2019 academic year, using image stimulation techniques can be improved with the final results of the study, writing 25 news texts. people complete or 83.33% of students are able to write news texts, with an average of 81 this is comparable to learning outcomes of 86.67% an average of 80.5. and student responses are 76.67% positive. The achievement of the ability to write news texts and student learning outcomes of course have reached and even surpassed the KKM at SMPN 19 Mataram by 75. The increased ability of students in Indonesian language learning is supported by increased teacher activities in maintaining and improving the learning atmosphere using image stimulation techniques. It can be seen from the results of observations of teacher activities, which is 4.27 in the second cycle or is in the increased category and has been achieved.
