Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar PPKn melalui Penggunaan Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Siswa Kelas IX.E SMP Negeri 11 Mataram

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of PPKn learning outcomes through the use of Teams Games Tournament for Class IX.E students of SMP Negeri 11 Mataram even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. This study was designed using Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were 26 students of class IX.E SMP Negeri 11 Mataram, consisting of 13 female students and 13 male students. The research procedure was carried out through stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The results showed that the learning outcomes of class IX.E students at SMP Negeri 11 Mataram in the 2019/2020 academic year, with the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model, namely data on student learning outcomes in PPKn learning increased from the initial data obtained 61.54 %, increased to 73.08% in cycle I, to 80.77% in cycle II and to 100% in cycle III. So the student learning outcomes in the PPKn learning carried out by the teacher are very good. Learning planning, there is an increase from 65.00% in cycle I to 75.00% in cycle II and increase to 85.00% in cycle III. So the lesson planning carried out by the teacher is very good. While the implementation of learning carried out by the teacher also experienced an increase from 70.84% ​​in cycle I to 79.517% in cycle II and to 87.50% in cycle III. So the implementation of learning carried out by the teacher is also very good. Student learning activities increased in cycle I by 64.84%, to 75.00% in cycle II and to 85.71% in cycle III.
