Efektivitas Pembelajaran Matematika melalui Media Google Meet Ditinjau dari Hasil Belajar Siswa di Masa Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of learning mathematics using the Google Meet application media during the covid-19 pandemic. In mathematics learning during the current pandemic, teachers must be able to implement learning activities well despite the existence of social distancing rules. One solution is to do virtual online learning activities using the Google Meet application media. The population in this study were students of class VIII SMPN 1 Sepatan with a total of 266 students. The sampling of this research is using cluster simple random sampling technique with a control class of 30 students and an experimental class of 30 students. Student learning outcomes data obtained from the results of daily tests after learning. The data were then processed by means of the average difference test using independent samples t-test on the SPSS software. The results showed that the significance value was 0.041 < 0.05, which means that there were differences in student learning outcomes between classes using Google Meet media and those not using Google Meet media, so learning mathematics using the Google Meet application media was quite effective when viewed from student learning outcomes.
